The Slice in Evansville

This is is a place serving pizza slices made to order. It is a large slice reasonably priced. Located close to the college gives them a huge market with students. The owner is very friendly and. shares his history readily. A great place to grab a good tasting slice of pizza.

Always good, whether you like the basic cheese, pepperoni, or sausage, or if you like variety like gyro, spinach, the works, etc. The crust is fantastic.

This place is the real deal. The best pizza in Evansville , Indiana by a longshot.

The Slice is absolutely delicious! We had a variety of slices of pizza and the prices are super cheap! Each slice we tried was good. The decor is mismatched and odd but in a clumsy cute sort of way. Overall a great little place for a dinner date, campus visit, college kids and family! They also have pool and a mini arcade in the back of the restaurant!a

This place is a dump, but they have the best pizza in town. Just try not to look at the fiber glass insulation hanging down around the top of the oven.

Love the funky atmosphere. Pizza is delicious and buying by the slice lets you try different styles without buying a whole pie. $2.50 for a slice and $2.25 draught beer, can't beat the prices.

Awesome pizza the cheese that is used is amazing so many options but the traditional cheese, sausage, pepperoni tend to be what all of my family gets. The sauce is always perfect never overly heavy and never dried out. We go here once a week and everyone loves it kids and adults both!! It is cash only.

Ate here during the EU high school basketball camps circa 1994-98 and have never forgotten the name of this place! Amazing pizza! Saw the owners 🍒 rare Porsche get destroyed by a runaway parked car left in neutral and he casually bought the dude responsible a coke and a slice before the cops arrived! It was a legendary character move that has always stuck with me as one of the kindest acts I have witnessed.

The slice has the best pizza please go and try sometime you will not be disappointed parking is a little sparse but totally worth going

The food was delicious, but the ordering system was not straight forward and not posted well. Great for people who are regulars, but could be better communicated. Again the food was delicious, five stars for that, but the experience was really degraded by the ordering experience. I felt dumb and that's never a good thing for customers.

This is one of my absolute favorite lunch places of all time. Bring cash! But it's worth it. Delicious, huge, fresh slices of pizza in all kinds of tempting flavors, including the fabulous potato pizza with sour cream topping. Favorites like pepperoni are done right too!

Gourmet pizza by the slice. Excellent crust and nice variety to choose from. It's a college hang out for those on a limited budget. About $2.50 per slice so you don't have to buy more than the average person can eat. We've eaten her twice this week. Yes, it's that good.

Pizza was decent but didn't wow me. Trevor was the server or pizza dude and personality was below average. I'm really into customer service and didn't think it was good. Really cool place to chill and eat cheap pizza though. Only accepts Cash and/or Check. Has ATM but charges fee. I think this place could be really awesome with staff that seems excited and more pizza options. 3/5 for me!

This is a treasure in our community! Unique pizza options "By The Slice" so you can try typical & exotic. Some of the best pizza in Evansville! Close to UE. My fave is the Spinach & Feta, add Ziki sauce.
